Why We Do What We Do (and simply adore it).

Everyone has a different way to tell stories.

Some people have pen and paper, ink-staining narratives onto the white.

Some people speak words and use their hands, waving about all animated. 

Some people use film or a song, touching emotions and connecting to us. 

Us?

We have a camera. We use a lens, a shutter snap, a moment captured to recount the story of your life. We work hard and stand long and get nervous butterflies before a shoot. It's a joy and a responsibility we don't take lightly.

We want to tell all the stories. The big ones, like the day you got married, when you had your first husband-wife kiss. When you became one and the love you felt for each other (right then) overwhelmed and knitted your hearts together in ways you didn't think possible.

And the little, other-wise missed, precious stories.  

Like the story of this dress. How you picked it out for you, because it was perfect. It was the one. 

And the one where we watched the light catch your nephew's eyes when he saw you early on the morning of your wedding day. How your face lit up too. 

Or the way you glowed, all bridal white, in that golden pool of sunlight, just like a princess. But this was a real fairytale. Your fairy tale.

Then the littles in your wedding party, how they sat on out on the porch and swung right into our hearts. 

And how we could see that, all along, your family had wrapped you up in love and support like a cocoon. Just waiting for a day, like today, when you finally flew away. 

All that joy. All that life? We want to get to tell, share, capture that. 

I am the one to rush and forget. To hasten and hurry right through life and honestly not remember what it was I lived. We don't want that for you. We know how crazy life can get, especially on a busy day like the one where you got married. But how precious is it that you can have gift of these images forever? These moments in time will never happen again, no matter how sweet they were. It's our passion for you to be able to look back through the images we give you and remember. We want you to be able to see every detail with same clarity and bring back the emotions you had at the exact moment the event happened. 

What happens in your life is uniquely beautiful in the most cherished of ways. Let us preserve it for you through photography so you can never forget and be able to tell your story over and over again. We are honored and humble to have that privilege.
